Este disco tiene muchos detalles por ejemplo: el nombre del disco es una burla al nombre del disco 'The history of rock' de Kid Rock, para la canción American hair band se usó la misma base que en American bad ass, y de Metallica en Sad but True. Canción honorifica para rememorar a las buenas bandas de glam de la época de los 80's, donde se enzaña y hace público su odio por el grunge, especialmente por Kurt Cobain.-
